Having started the business in 1937, founder Lloyd Allen, who passed away in 2012, started the company out as strictly a logging operation in Scappoose, Or. It has been at its present location since 1955. Gerry Lane, general manager at Allen Logging Company, said they plan to process the current log inventory until they run out.
